FAQ

Questions we hear most

Ordering, custom work, delivery, rental and repair — the essentials, answered. Anything else, just ask.

How do I order a harp?

Get in touch by email or phone and tell us which model you are interested in. We will walk you through options — woods, decoration, stringing — confirm current pricing and delivery time, and arrange payment and delivery with you directly.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes — customization is at the heart of what we do. Carvings, hand-painted soundboards, gold leaf, custom rosettes and special wood choices are all possible, and some models (such as Galatia Gemini or the full-size koto) are built to order entirely. Contact us to discuss pricing for custom options.

How is delivery handled?

Harps are delicate instruments, so we prefer personal handover where possible, and travel models such as Myra are designed to fly easily. Contact us and we will work out the best delivery arrangement for your location. Shipping is not included in listed prices.

Do prices include tax?

Yes. All sales are invoiced and prices include VAT. Prices are set in euros; for buyers in Türkiye they are charged in Turkish lira at the day’s exchange rate, with credit-card payment in up to 12 installments available.

Why are harps so expensive?

A harp’s wooden frame carries around a ton of string tension — far more than any other string instrument — so it demands the right woods and real engineering. Strings are custom-made (only a few makers in the world produce harp strings), and quality tuning pins and brass levers cost more but keep the harp in tune for decades. There is simply no such thing as a playable cheap harp; we price our instruments roughly 40% below their equivalents abroad. Read more on our blog.

Can I rent a harp or take lessons?

Yes. We rent harps by the month within Türkiye, and offer harp lessons in Istanbul and online — online lessons are available worldwide, in English and German as well as Turkish.

What about repairs and maintenance?

Every harp we build is backed by our repair and maintenance guarantee — we are Türkiye’s first and only harp maker. Harps of other makes can be serviced after inspection at our workshop.
